Turning Points for Children, a PHMC subsidiary is one of the largest social service organizations for children in Philadelphia. For more than 180 years, people have relied on Turning Points for Children in their time of need. We have always answered the call, remaining steadfast in our commitment to support families in raising safe, healthy, educated and strong children.

Turning Points for children serves more than 17,000 men, women and children through a variety of “no fee” programs that include an emergency food pantry, in-home case management, teen & adult parenting classes, residential and outpatient behavioral health treatment program, resources for homeless young adults and we are one of the largest foster care providers in Philadelphia.

Because the needs of Philadelphia’s families and children exceed the available funding, we are always looking for ways to raise awareness and funds for our mission of building Stronger Families and Brighter Futures.

November is National Adoption month and we’d like to invite you to participate in our upcoming Wellness Event featuring a 90 minute Zumba Class taught by Dr. Bhavna Shyamalan and Kristine Carroll of Vibe Vault Fit - one of the hottest fitness studios in the region!

We're asking 10 people to donate $20 or more to your favorite Zumba dancer to help them reach their $200 goal.

o   $25 provides a case of diapers for teen parents

o   $50 provides Care Kits filled with age appropriate items for children entering foster homes

o   $100 provides a month of healthy foods for a struggling family
